O P N is a minimalist time tracking tool that allows you to visualize and quantify your your free time.
MISSION
OP N is a passion project that I devote my free time to in order to challenge and enable others to increase mindfulness of their free time through a series of visual analytics.
The goal of O P N is to simply invert calendar data so that all that is shown is the time free beyond the context of scheduled events. By quantifying and visualizing free time in a beautiful way, users will be enabled make better use time by having a new awareness of the hours in their day that are unscheduled.
I have a great love of visual analytics and their relationship to mapping the emergence of human behavioral patterns. By measuring and visualizing intangible elements of our lives, such as free time, I feel we are better able to understand and use it to our advantage.

My approach to the visual design of this platform was to maintain a sense of visual depth and openness while utilizing a series of visual analytic methods for the use to view and interact with their schedule.
Through usability testing I am honing the interactions and visual indicators for free and scheduled time. This is currently still in process as this is an early iteration of the visual design.
I am currently in the process of designing the sharable analytics feature.
